OFFER OF THE GARDEN PRODUCTS PROCESSING CENTER
The machinery and technology park located in CPPO enables work to be carried out on increasing the range of well-known products, such as NFC juices, smoothies or jams. It allows for the development of technologies for new, innovative products based on horticultural raw materials (premium products, functional food, special purpose food).
The Horticultural Products Processing Center is equipped with classic technological lines:
- a complete NFC juice production line with a capacity of 150 kg/h,
- multiprocessor for producing purees, jams and jellies,
- a chamber dryer operating in convection mode with the option of supporting the process with infrared radiation and contact heating
- a universal fruit and vegetable washing line with a bubble-washer system dedicated to mini-processing plants.
- device for candying and/or osmotic dehydration of fruits and vegetables.
- packing machines for dry and liquid products in doypack packaging.
- immersion autoclave necessary for preserving fruit and vegetable products.
Scope of CPPO activities
- The modular arrangement of individual processing devices enables flexible selection of technological operations, and thus enables the design and production of innovative products on a semi-technical scale.
- We offer the development of individual process parameters occurring in the designed technology for manufacturing an innovative product.
- We accept orders for testing or production of processed products from raw materials provided by the customer.
- We offer the possibility of using a selected technological line or device in the presence of a researcher or technical employee at CPPO.
- The facility is equipped with warehouses for semi-finished and finished products with the ability to control and monitor the conditions of simulated goods turnover, thanks to which CPPO offers to carry out storage tests with monitoring of quality changes in finished products.
- The Centre also has a sensory and consumer research department focused on researching consumer preferences for innovative processed fruit and vegetable products.
- We also offer a wide range of analyses of physicochemical quality and food safety carried out in the laboratories of the Fruit and Vegetable Processing and Quality Assessment Workshop.
- We perform calculations for the energy and nutritional value table for food product labels.
We are focused on cooperation in national and international projects in the field of fruit and vegetable processing.
