SCOPE OF RESEARCH CONDUCTED

  • Chemical analyses performed as part of: statutory activities and other tasks carried out at the Institute of Horticulture and orders for business entities.
  • Chemical tests of plant cultivation aids and soil improvement agents (according to the Fertilizers and Fertilization Act).

The research is conducted using high-class research and laboratory equipment (ICP and AA spectrometers, elemental analysers of nitrogen, carbon and sulphur, flow analysers, selective ion analysers and fast devices for the decomposition and mineralisation of various samples, not only garden ones).

The laboratory has a qualified team with many years of experience in laboratory and analytical work.

LABORATORY OFFER

  • Analysis of soil and gardening substrates (pH, salinity, macro- and micronutrient content) for diagnostic purposes.
  • Complete analysis of water for fertigation of greenhouse, field and orchard crops, with the possibility of determining additional elements.
  • Marking of elements such as sulfur, chlorides, sodium and others.
  • Determination of general forms of mineral components (carbon, sulfur, nitrogen, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, and micronutrients) in vegetables, fruits and plant material.
  • Determination of heavy metal content by ICP-OES and atomic spectrometry in plant material and food of plant origin, full analysis of fertiliser media, extracts from cultivation mats.
