SCOPE OF RESEARCH CONDUCTED
- Fertilization and irrigation of horticultural crops. Evaluation of the efficiency of irrigation and fertigation using various techniques in field production and in crops under cover. Optimization of crop irrigation taking into account weather conditions and soil water resources.
- Development of soilless cultivation systems under cover. Lighting systems (LED), closed nutrient circuits, testing of varieties, substrates, fertilizers and plant growth enhancers.
- Development of measurement systems for the automation of horticultural production.
- Study of the influence of environmental factors on plants (plant tolerance to biotic and abiotic stresses, especially water deficit).
