- Selection of bees taking into account disease resistance mechanisms.
- Methods of rearing and insemination of queen bees.
- Subspecies identification of honey bees.
- Phenological conditions of bee family development.
- Beekeeping value of useful plants.
- Assessment of biodiversity and improvement of bee yields.
- Study of the importance of honeybees and other bee insects in the pollination of entomophilous crop plants.
- Breeding and use of wild bees for pollination of crop plants.
- Adaptation of apiary technologies to changing climatic and nectar conditions.
- Integrated methods for reducing the invasion of the Varroa destructor parasite
- Evaluation of the effectiveness of varroa mites registered in Poland.
- Testing of starch syrups used for winter feeding of bees and assessment of their suitability for beekeeping.
- Monitoring and forecasting the economic conditions of the beekeeping sector in Poland.
