The Institute of Horticulture – National Research Institute was the content partner of the Fair. Researchers from the Institute delivered lectures during the conference "Orchards 2025 – Modernity in Practice." Topics included crop health, pesticide residues in fruit, breeding new varieties of apple and Japanese quince, and the development of less common species such as cornelian cherry and chokeberry. The lecturers included: Prof. Joanna Puławska, PhD, DSc, Eng. Artur Miszczak, PhD, DSc, Eng. Małgorzata Tartanus, PhD, DSc, Eng. Mariusz Lewandowski, Prof. Stanisław Pluta, MSc, Eng. The Institute also had its own stand, showcasing varieties bred by the Institute of Horticulture – National Research Institute (IO-PIB), along with materials showcasing the results of research and projects conducted at the institution, as well as publications produced as part of targeted projects funded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The stand, enhanced by floral arrangements, attracted numerous visitors, enabling direct conversations between scientists and practitioners. Among our guests was the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Stefan Krajewski, whose presence highlighted the importance of the event and the scientific work being presented. Dr. Krzysztof P. Rutkowski, Director of the Institute of Horticulture – National Research Institute, was present at the fair, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between science and horticulture practice and the need to jointly address the challenges facing the industry.
