International Trade Fair of Food and Organic Products Bio Expo Warsaw
Nadarzyn, November 25-27, 2025
On November 25-27, 2025, employees of the Institute of Horticulture – National Research Institute from the Department of Microbiology and Rhizosphere participated in the Bio Expo Warsaw International Organic Food and Products Trade Fair, held at the Ptak Warsaw Expo in Nadarzyn. The event brought together a wide range of representatives from the organic industry, showcasing organic food, organic technologies, natural products, and innovations supporting the development of organic farming.
The stand of the Institute of Horticulture – National Research Institute featured, among others, the Eco Nutri project "Innovative concept and ecologically sustainable fertilization technologies in agriculture, preventing and reducing soil, water and air pollution," as well as materials promoting the use of only licensed nursery material when establishing orchards and berry plantations, and presenting IO-PIB breeding varieties.
A highlight of the fair was the presentation of awards to entities that made significant contributions to the development of the organic market. The Institute of Horticulture – National Research Institute received recognition in the Trade Fair Product category and an additional distinction from the Polish Federation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in the Cooperation category.
Participation in Bio Expo Warsaw enabled the presentation of the Institute's current research directions and the emphasis on the importance of innovative, environmentally friendly technologies in modern organic farming.
