General principles of the publishing process

  • In the case of the Journal of Horticultural Research and Journal of Apicultural Science, authors submit materials for publication using electronic editorial platforms, while in the case of other journals and publishing series – to the Publishing House’s office.
  • Detailed material requirements are provided for each type of publication.
  • The authors confirm in writing that they have become familiar with all the requirements of the Publisher, in particular the principles of publication ethics.
  • The editorial office makes a preliminary acceptance of submitted materials within a maximum of 4 weeks and informs the corresponding author of the decision.
  • In the case of monographs and theses, a preliminary cost estimate may be made.
  • The editors reserve the right to update costs until the publishing agreement is signed, especially in the event of a change in the quantity and quality of color illustrative material.

Authors' Responsibilities

  • Authors are obliged to familiarize themselves with the ethical standards and requirements for scientific publications, the consequences of non-compliance, and to accept them.
  • The authors are responsible for the originality of the scientific work submitted for publication.
  • All non-authorial fragments included in the submitted work are protected by copyright and their inclusion requires the prior written consent of the owner of such rights.
  • The publication should be prepared according to the Publisher's instructions placed on the website of the journal or publishing series.
  • Authors are obliged to respond in writing to comments from editors, reviewers and the statistical editor.
  • Authors are required to disclose: the participation of individual persons in the creation of a scientific publication, the source of financing for research and publication, and their true affiliation.

  • Reviewers are required to familiarize themselves with ethical standards and requirements for scientific publications, with the consequences of non-compliance, and to accept them. If they find a violation of standards, they are required to include this information in the review.
