In the case of the 'Betared' variety, both the fruit and the anthocyanin-tinged leaves are decorative. The shape and size of the tree - a spherical crown and medium-strong growth - make it an ideal variety as a columnar tree for espaliered trees along streets, sidewalks, and for planting as a solitary tree in flower beds or squares. It will be an ideal complement to urban plantings and home gardens.

both for traditional commercial, integrated, ecological and amateur cultivation.
MILLENNIUM GOLD
'GOLD MILENIUM' is a scab-resistant apple variety for integrated commercial cultivation and organic production. Due to its resistance to apple scab and low susceptibility to apple powdery mildew, the 'Gold Milenium' variety is a valuable dessert variety, with good quality fruit, useful for traditional commercial cultivation, integrated, organic, and amateur cultivation.
LIGOL
The tree grows moderately strong, forms a conical crown, moderately dense. Fruits large to very large, spherical-conical. Skin smooth, oily, without russeting, covered by 40-70% with bright red, blurred blush. Flesh creamy, crisp, juicy, aromatic, sweet-sour, tasty. Winter variety, harvest maturity at the turn of September and October. Variety not very susceptible to apple scab and powdery mildew, susceptible to fire blight, frost-resistant.
LIGOL RED
'Ligol Red' is a winter, dessert apple variety. It produces large, better colored fruit than the Ligol variety. When using proper, annual pruning, thinning of flowers and fruit buds, it yields abundantly and regularly. The fruit can be stored for a long time both in a regular cold store (until the end of March) and in a CA cold store, similarly to the fruit of the Ligol variety. During storage, they are very susceptible to gray mold and bitter apple rot. In order to protect against losses caused by these diseases, an appropriate protection program should be used during the growing season. The trees are quite resistant to frost, so 'Ligol Red' is a variety useful for commercial cultivation also in regions with harsher winters. Good rootstocks for the Ligol Red variety are M.9 and M.26.
LIGOL REDSPUR
'Ligol Redspur' is a winter, dessert apple variety, producing fruit with better colour than the Ligol variety. With proper pruning and thinning of flowers and fruit buds, it produces abundantly, annually, and the apples are of good quality. The fruit stores well both in a regular cold store (until the end of March) and in a KA cold store, but it is necessary to apply treatments in the orchard to protect the apples from storage diseases (grey mould, bitter apple rot). The variety is moderately susceptible to diseases, and the trees are sufficiently resistant to frost. 'Ligol Redspur' is a valuable variety for commercial cultivation. Good rootstocks for the Ligol Redspur variety are M.26 and P 14.
LIGOL SPUR
'Ligol Spur' is a winter, dessert apple variety. It produces large, better colored fruit than the Ligol variety. When using proper, annual pruning, as well as thinning flowers and fruit buds, it yields regularly and abundantly, and the fruit is of good quality. Apples can be stored for a long time both in a regular cold store (until the end of March) and in a KA cold store, similarly to the fruit of the Ligol variety. The variety is moderately susceptible to diseases, and the trees are resistant to frost. It is suitable for establishing intensive commercial orchards with a large number of trees per unit area. Good rootstocks for the Ligol Spur variety are M.26 and P 14.
LIGOLINA
The 'Ligolina' variety is a valuable dessert variety, with very good quality fruit and high storage values (the fruit stores very well both in a regular cold store (until the end of March) and in a CA cold store (similarly to 'Ligol'), useful both for traditional commercial cultivation, integrated cultivation and for amateur cultivation.
MELFREE
The 'Melfree' variety is a valuable dessert variety, with good quality fruit and good storage properties (fruits store well both in a regular cold store (until March) and in a CA cold store (until June). It is useful for traditional commercial, integrated, ecological and amateur cultivation.
PINK BRAEBURN
The 'Pink Braeburn' variety is a valuable dessert apple variety with good quality fruit and high storage values, the fruit stores very well both in a regular cold store (until the end of March) and in a CA cold store (until the end of June), useful for traditional commercial cultivation, integrated cultivation, and amateur cultivation.

AMETHYST
Amelanchier alnifolia, also known as sweet chokeberry or Canadian blueberry (where it originates from), is considered a fruit species still little known in Poland. It belongs to the Rosaceae family, subfamily of the apple family (Amelanchier sp.). On plantations, it is grown in the form of a row of bushes. The new variety bred at the Institute of Horticulture - National Research Institute is a proposal both for nurserymen who would like to start propagating a new, interesting fruit species, but also for fruit growers who have already started, for example, processing fruit on their own farms or sell produced fruit as part of, for example, Agricultural Retail Trade.
