Individual units of the Institute of Horticulture - National Research Institute consist of research teams that specialise in all issues related to horticultural production.
Qualified scientific staff provide consulting services in the field of horticultural plant production, biotechnology, genetics and creative breeding, as well as agrotechnics, phytopathology, nursery and protection of genetic resources. The Institute's research topics also include plant irrigation, edible mushroom cultivation, fruit and vegetable processing and storage, food safety, and agroengineering.
