Transfer of INNOvative techniques for sustainable WAter use in FERtigated crops. “Fertinnowa” Horizon 2020
The main objective of the thematic network FERTINNOWA is to create a knowledge base on innovative technologies and practices for fertigation of horticultural crops. The project also aims to build a knowledge exchange platform to assess existing and new technologies (innovation potential, synergies, gaps, barriers) for fertigated crops and to ensure a wide dissemination among all interested parties of the most promising technologies and best practices. The scope of the project also includes the issues of economical use of water sources and protection of the environment from pollution caused by drainage water in areas of intensive horticultural production.
