Visit of representatives of the Marshal's Office of the Lodz Voivodeship

On March 9, a meeting between representatives of the Lodz Voivodeship Marshal's Office and the Institute's management was held at the Institute of Horticulture – National Research Institute. Artur Bagieński, member of the Lodz Voivodeship Board, and Ewa Czarnecka, Director of the Department of Agriculture, attended the meeting. The Institute was represented by Dr. Krzysztof Rutkowski, Director of the Institute, and Prof. Bożena Matysiak, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs.
The main focus of the visit was collaboration in the areas of scientific research and knowledge transfer. The activities of the Horticultural Products Processing Center were also presented by Sebastian Siarkowski, Eng., Head of the Horticultural Products Processing Center, and Monika Mieszczakowska-Frąc, PhD, DSc, Professor of Horticultural Products and Head of the Fruit and Vegetable Processing and Quality Assessment Laboratory.
The visit demonstrated the potential of cooperation in the development of Polish horticulture and created opportunities for implementing joint research and innovation projects.
